Registration

  • Online registration begins on 04/25/2025 at 01:00 pm (CDT) and closes 07/04/2025 at midnight (CDT).
  • Pre-registration (online) price per splash for this event is $25.00 (USD) per dog. Payment is due upon check-in.
  • Splashes can be purchased on-site the day of the event for $30.00 (USD) per dog.
  • Payment is required at check-in for all pre-registered splashes. Refunds will not be issued if you fail to show up for your turn.

Event Notes

  • A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $35.00.
  • Splashes include up to three minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
  • The jump order is set by a posted running order. Each splash closes 30 minutes prior to start time. Failure to be present at the beginning of the splash can result if the forfeiture of jumping in that splash.
  • Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of them will be your Qualifying Score.
  • You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have five Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC and CKC through their recognition programs. View their applications here (AKC) and here (CKC).
  • Please read the official NADD Rules before you attend the Trial.

Try-its at this event

  • Try-its will be allowed as space permits and during Splashes if no competitors are waiting to jump. Try-its cost $10.00.

Other Notes

NOTE: WE have moved locations, the new location is 59900 E 56th Avenue, Strasburg, CO 80136

 

DIRECTIONS:

From I-70 East -Take Strasburg Rd and turn east onto E 56th Ave (a dirt road). At the 2 way stop sign, you’ll see a cluster of mailboxes—continue straight. The white and blue facility will be on your right. Do not take E 56th Ave from Bradbury Kribs Rd. While it may lead to the facility, it is not a proper road.

 

EVENT:

This event will be run the same as a Mobile Dock.  Splash Cards will be utilized, given to competitors and competitors can enter the hour they would like to jump, assuming there is room or it will move the next hour.

 

 Please remember splashes are limited to two jumps per dog per Splash hour.

 

Check-in is required at least 30 minutes before your Splash time.

 

All dogs must be leashed at all times unless you are on the dock.

FOOD:

There are also multiple restaurants within 10 minutes, and numerous fast food places within 15 minutes of the test. See ReadyFreddySportDogs.com for more information.

 

LODGING:

There are two hotels / motels within 10 minutes of the test site.

 

Dry camping and RV parking is available by advance arrangement only. Parking is on dirt with easy drive in/out. No hookups or septic dump are currently available. Dry camping is self-contained. Overnight parking request form is available on the RFDS website, or you may print and submit the form below with your entries. Important note. Overnight parking payment must be a separate check with appropriate payee name.

 

PRIVATE PROPERTY:

The venue is on private property. The generous area around the house and coop are strictly off- limits. Information about dog walk areas is attached at the end of this premium and will be detailed during the general briefing.

 

BATHROOM:

The bathroom on site is currently a porta potty outside on the north side of the facility.

 

SUBSTANCE USE:

There is NO SMOKING OR ALCOHOL of any kind in the facility or on the private property. This includes cigarettes, marijuana, vapes and chewing tobacco.

 

PARKING:

Parking is on the North side of the facility. Turn into our personal driveway, then take a left towards the facility. Please reference the facility map at the end of the premium for more information. Do not park in the recessed areas between the front lean-tos. Keep 5+ feet between the facility and your vehicle.

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER:

If there has been recent snow or rainfall, please be cautious when choosing a parking spot. If an area looks wet or questionable, assume it is soft and avoid parking there. We will do our best to assist if someone gets stuck, but ultimately, it is your responsibility to park safely.

 

MAN DOOR DESIGNATION FOR SAFETY:

Please familiarize yourself with how the entry and exit doors are designated. There are two "IN ONLY" doors and two "OUT ONLY" doors, along with one emergency exit only door. Signs are posted on the doors for guidance. These measures are in place to prevent dog-on-dog contact.

 

DOG POTTY AREAS / RULES

POTTY BREAKS:

Do NOT allow your dog to potty inside the facility, on the exterior walls of the facility, in/on the covered lean-to, within 30 feet of any facility wall, on any sporting equipment or on car tires. We understand accidents happen, but please immediately pull your dog off if they are eliminating inappropriately.

 

If your dog inappropriately eliminates, please promptly clean it up. There is a bucket located inside the main front that contains both an odor eliminator spray and a water spray. Kindly spray the area thoroughly to help prevent it from becoming a hotspot.

 

CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG:

Please be considerate about picking up after your dogs and leaving the grounds as you found them. Any exhibitor failing to do so will be excused without benefit of refund and at the discretion of the Trial Committee. Repeated inappropriate elimination / failure to pick up is cause for dismissal without refund and a fine. Please respect that this is private property. Waste bags are available throughout the facility and outside for you to use.

 

Never dispose of waste bags inside the facility.

 

OUTDOOR CRATING:

If you are crating out of your vehicle during the months of May - October, you must have an aluminet over your vehicle.

 

NO VEHICLE ENGINES LEFT RUNNING ALLOWED...PERIOD!! It is a fire hazard and disruptive to other competitors.  If are found to have your engine running you will be asked to leave. 

 

HEALTH POLICY:

Any dog that is sick, moderately injured, or lame will be excused from the trial grounds.
