Registration

  • Online registration begins on 04/25/2025 at 01:00 pm (CDT) and closes 07/04/2025 at midnight (CDT).
  • Pre-registration (online) price per splash for this event is $25.00 (USD) per dog. Payment is due upon check-in.
  • Splashes can be purchased on-site the day of the event for $30.00 (USD) per dog.
  • Payment is required at check-in for all pre-registered splashes. Refunds will not be issued if you fail to show up for your turn.

Event Notes

  • A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $35.00.
  • Splashes include up to three minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
  • The jump order is set by a posted running order. Each splash closes 30 minutes prior to start time. Failure to be present at the beginning of the splash can result if the forfeiture of jumping in that splash.
  • Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of them will be your Qualifying Score.
  • You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have five Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC and CKC through their recognition programs. View their applications here (AKC) and here (CKC).
  • Please read the official NADD Rules before you attend the Trial.

NADD Regionals Qualifier

This is a qualifier event for the NADD Diving Dog Regionals.
  • In order to qualify for Distance Jump, each dog must have a minimum of three DJ splashes completed at this event. We then take the average of the top three jumps from the event for each dog. Only the top 3 dogs in each division will receive an automatic Distance Jump invite to the Regionals.
  • Jumps in all the Splashes will count towards your NADD/AKC titles.
  • The Air Retrieve and Hydro Dash qualifier will be based on the highest score achieved at the event. In both Open & Lap, the Top 3 Finishers for each division will earn invites.

Try-its at this event

  • Try-its will be allowed as space permits and during Splashes if no competitors are waiting to jump. Try-its cost $10.00.

Other Notes

  • Splashes include up to THREE minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
  • Event will run with a Pre-set Jump Order- NOT Jump Cards!

    Check-in starts at 8:30 am.  The Facility OPENS at 8:00 AM and No EARLIER!

    The pool will be open at 8 am for practice and close at 8:50 am.

     

    Friday: Jump Order for Splashes will go Alphabetically from A to Z.

     

    Saturday: Jump Order for Splashes will go Alphabetically from Z to A.

     

    Sunday: Jump Order for Splashes will go Alphabetically from A to Z.

     

    Splash check-in will close 1/2 hour before the splash begins.  

     
    Check In
    • Please be sure to Check In at the Admin Table prior to the START time of YOUR Splash.
    Waivers: 
    In compliance with the NADD Rules, it is required that all competitors sign the NADD waivers.  It is the responsibility of All Competitors to sign the Waivers at to the Admin Tent at time of Check In.
    Registration
    • Preregistration is Recommended- we do not guarantee Day-Of availability to add splashes. 
    • Day of event entries will be accepted if there is room. *This includes adding Splashes to an existing registration- If you “might” want a Splash we suggest signing up for it in advance
    • All preregistered splashes must be paid for in advance or at check in. Once preregistration has closed you may not drop splashes.
    • Try-Its will be allowed if Time Allows
    Payments
    Per NADD , we can now offer you the option to pre-pay for your splashes using the square LINK that will be emailed to you. Refunds are not permitted after payment is made except for an injured dog or in season bitch. A letter from your Veterinarian or Doctor will be required before refunds will be given in these cases
    • All competitors will receive an email Invoice via SQUARE payment systems 48 hours prior to the event (once event is closed).
    • INVOICES May BE PAID Online PRIOR TO CHECK-IN! All online invoices will include a 3% credit card processing fee. 
    • NO Refunds (except for bitches in season or injury with a Veterinary/Doctor's note)
    • If you’d rather pay CASH at the admin tent this will be accepted day-of 
    Food/Snacks
    • There will NOT be a Food Vendor
    Facility
    • The Ak9c Retail Store will be open for purchases
    • We WILL be using the NEW Atlas Bumpers for AR, BOTH Lap & Regular sizes are available 
     Crating Area
    • You may set up Crates & EZ Ups on the grounds
    • Exhibitors should bring Water & Shade for their dogs
     
    Handler’s Meeting
    • A general In-Person handler briefing will be held at 8:55am each morning
    Ribbons
    • You will be able to pick up your Q-Ribbons after your Splash
    • All Ribbons will be self serve; There will be a ribbon writing station available for you to use
    • NOTE: Ribbons/Prizes will NOT be mailed or available for pick up after the event closes on Sunday
    • We will have New Title Ribbons,  plus Advanced & Excellent Title Rosettes
      
    Payments: 
    • All competitors will receive an email Invoice via SQUARE payment systems 48 hours prior to the event. INVOICES MAY BE PAID PRIOR TO CHECK-IN ONLINE
    • NO Refunds once preregistration has closed
      • Please Note: You must pay for all pre registered splashes prior to or at time of check-in. Any splashes not paid for will be put back into the event's on-site registration availability list.

  • Ak9C Awards 
    •  This is a Qualifying event- AK9C will award all Qualifiers with a Qualifier Medal & rosette
