Registration

  • Online registration closes 09/27/2024 at midnight (CDT).
  • Pre-registration (online) price per splash for this event is $27.00 (CAD) per dog. Payment is due upon check-in.
  • Splashes can be purchased on-site the day of the event for $32.00 (CAD) per dog.
  • Payment is required at check-in for all pre-registered splashes. Refunds will not be issued if you fail to show up for your turn.

Event Notes

  • A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $35.00.
  • Splashes include up to three minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
  • This event is an Open Splash event. This is done at Portable Dock trials and other shows that have timing conflicts with other dog events. The time for each splash for the day will be set such as 9am for example for all the splashes. You have between the posted start time and end time (either before AR starts or the end of the last day, usually 3pm) to complete your splashes for the day. When you check in you will be handed “Splash Cards” for each splash that you pay for. When you are ready to jump during the day, hand a splash card to the wrangler to get put into the running order. It is the handler's responsibility to be sure to be present it before their turn to jump. Please be aware that at many events, the running order board fills very quickly and early in the day.
  • Please Note: You must pay for all pre registered splashes at time of check-in. Any splashes not paid for will be put back into the event's on-site registration availability list and result in a no-show. If you are registering multiple dogs there will be a no-show for each dog. You are responsible for all pre-registered splashes.
  • Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of them will be your Qualifying Score.
  • You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have five Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC and CKC through their recognition programs. View their applications here (AKC) and here (CKC).
  • Please read the official NADD Rules before you attend the Trial.

Try-its at this event

  • Try-its will be allowed as space permits and during Splashes if no competitors are waiting to jump. Try-its cost $10.00.

Welcome to our HALLOWEEN splash! 

 

Be sure to break out your best halloween themed outfits! 

 

The pool is located in the main building at the end of the long driveway on the left. Parking is available all around the building. Facility rules and NADD rules must be followed at all times on site.

 

PRIZES
Daily attendance prizes will be drawn for all registered participants throughout the day!

 

SCHEDULE
Friday, the registration desk will open at 8:00 a.m. The first event will begin at 9 a.m. with open jump card availability. HD will start at 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, the registration desk will open at 9 a.m., the first event will start at 10 a.m. with jump card availability open. AR will start at 4:30 p.m
Sunday, the registration desk will open at 9 a.m., the first event will start at 10 a.m. with jump card availability open. HD will start at 4:30 p.m.


A 30 min lunch break will be scheduled around 12:30 p.m. each day.
No Finale

 


OUR LAND

Please note that our North yard limit is where the yellow rope is. So please, don't go play on the neighbor's land!

You are welcome to use our 5 km walking trails! Your dogs don't have to be on leash but be respectful by calling them to you when you meet other walkers... PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TRAILS HAVE DIRECTIONS! If you are not sure, ask for a map at the reception!

Please pick up after your dogs even if it is far in the forest.... Lots of dogs means lots of poop!

You will have Wi-Fi access everywhere (well, almost!) on the land. There is no password to get into the GUIDES CANINS Visitor Network.


TOILETS

There are 5 washrooms inside our Complexe

CAMPING

You are welcome to camp on site with your caravan, motorhome or tent. Please confirm your presence and your needs by filling out the camping form if you have not already done so! https://forms.gle/ykNxpNESQvnYfS7T8

 

There are spots at the back of the Agility Fields, you must turn right at the end of the driveway).

There are no reserved or assigned seats. First come, first served;

We are counting on you to share the available space!

Don't forget your extensions if you need electricity!

It will not be possible to fill your water tank upon your arrival, plan to arrive full;

When you leave (and during your stay), place your garbage and recycling in the containers at the entrance to the parking lot and not in the garbage cans on the site.

 

FOOD

There will not be a food service on site.

You will have access to our picnic tables.

OPEN SPLASH EVENT FORMAT (Jump Card):

Are run as follows:

a) No set splash times, all splashes for that day are run simultaneously. This allows the competitor to determine their jump time. Each competitor will be given a NADD jump card at registration. They will turn in their card when ready to compete. A competitor can only compete in the number of splashes offered for each day. It is the competitor’s responsibility to allow enough time to jump their dogs during the offered times each day.

 

b) It is the responsibility of the competitor to complete all daily jumps on the assigned day of the splashes. Cards must be submitted no later than 2 hours prior to the end of open splash time.  (must be present by 3 p.m.!)

La piscine est située dans le bâtiment principal au bout de la longue allée à gauche. Le stationnement est situé tout autour du bâtiment. Les règles de l'établissement et les règles NADD doivent être respectés en tout temps.

HORAIRE
Vendredi, l'enregistrement ouvre à 8h. Le premier événement débutera à 9h avec 'open jump card availability'. HD débutera à 16h30.
Samedi, l'enregistrement ouvre à 9h. Le premier événement débutera à 10h avec 'open jump card availability'. AR débutera à 16h30.
Dimanche, l'enregistrement ouvre à 9h. Le premier événement débutera à 10h avec 'open jump card availability'. HD débutera à 16h30.
Il y aura une pause dîner vers 12h30 chaque jour.

TERRAIN!

Notez que la limite du terrain (au nord) est délimitée par une corde jaune. SVP, ne pas aller jouer chez le voisin!

Vous êtes les bienvenus à utiliser nos sentiers! Vous pouvez marcher vos chiens sans laisse, soyez juste courtois lors de vos rencontres en rappelant vos chiens. NOTEZ QUE LES SENTIERS SONT À SENS UNIQUE! Si vous n’êtes pas certain du sens des sentiers, demandez la carte des sentiers à la réception!

SVP ramasser les besoins de votre chien, même s’ils sont loin dans la forêt.... Car avec tous les chiens sur le terrain, ça fait beaucoup de cacas, même loin dans la forêt!

Le Wi-Fi GUIDES CANINS visiteur est disponible partout (ou presque!) sur le terrain. Il n'y a pas de mot de passe pour y accéder.


CAMPING

Vous êtes les bienvenus pour camper sur place avec votre roulotte, motorisée ou votre tente. SVP confirmez votre présence et vos besoins en remplissant le formulaire de camping si ce n’est pas déjà fait! https://forms.gle/ykNxpNESQvnYfS7T8

Il y a des places au fond des terrains de compétition, de l'autre côté du ring de Frisbee à côté du ring clôturé (vous devez tournez à droite à la fin de driveway).

Il n'y a pas de place réservée ou assignée. Premiers arrivés, premiers servis;

Nous comptons sur vous pour bien partager l'espace disponible!

N’oubliez pas vos extensions si vous avez besoin d’électricité!

Il ne sera pas possible de remplir votre réservoir d'eau à votre arrivée, prévoyez arriver plein;

À votre départ (et durant votre séjour), déposez vos poubelles et recyclage dans les conteneurs à l'entrée du stationnement et non pas dans les poubelles sur le site.


TOILETTES

Il y a des 5 toilettes à l'intérieur et 2 douches ! 


BOUFFE

Il n'y aura pas de service de nourriture et rafraîchissements sur place.

Vous aurez accès aux tables à picnic dehors.

FORMAT D'ÉVÉNEMENT OPEN SPLASH (Jump Card) :

Sont exécutés comme suit :


a) Aucune heure de projection définie, toutes les projections de cette journée sont exécutées simultanément. Ceci permet
au concurrent de déterminer son temps de saut. Chaque concurrent recevra un NADD carte de saut lors de l'inscription. Ils rendront leur carte lorsqu’ils seront prêts à concourir.

Le concurrent ne peut concourir que dans le nombre de splashes proposés pour chaque jour. C'est
la responsabilité du concurrent de prévoir suffisamment de temps pour sauter ses chiens pendant la horaires proposés chaque jour.
b) Il est de la responsabilité du concurrent d'effectuer tous les sauts quotidiens sur la jounrée meme. Les cartes doivent être soumises au plus tard 2 heures avant la fin de temps d'éclaboussure ouverte (Donc minimum 15h).
