- Pre-registration (online) price per splash for this event is $25.00 (USD) per dog. Payment is due upon check-in.
- Splashes can be purchased on-site the day of the event for $30.00 (USD) per dog.
- Payment is required at check-in for all pre-registered splashes. Refunds will not be issued if you fail to show up for your turn.

Event Notes
- A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $35.00.
- Splashes include up to three minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
- The jump order is set by a posted running order. Each splash closes 30 minutes prior to start time. Failure to be present at the beginning of the splash can result if the forfeiture of jumping in that splash.
- Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of them will be your Qualifying Score.
- You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have five Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC and CKC through their recognition programs. View their applications here (AKC) and here (CKC).
- Please read the official NADD Rules before you attend the Trial.

- BBQ lunch & drinks will be available onsite. Meal deal of drink, BBQ item that day, and side for $10.
- Ribbons can be picked up after your splash is complete.
- Our goal is to make our trial environment as safe as possible for all of our dog handlers, volunteers, and judges. If you have any concerns during this event, please bring it to BDU staff directly at the time of occurrence, or reach out to us directly by email before or after the event: Browndoguniversity@gmail.com
- As a guest of BDU you will be courteous and respectful to staff, volunteers, other residents on our road, and conduct yourself in a sportsmen’s manner both on and off the dock while at BDU per NADD and AKC’s code of conduct.
- Parking attendant is on duty to assist us to get everyone parked safely so that we all fit! Our private road is narrow once filled up with competitor vehicles. Please park well off the road and close your car doors to allow others to pass.
- During all NADD AKC trials if we have a professional event photographer on staff, per NADD rules other photographers or those will professional lenses will not be authorized to photograph any other dogs but those they own without permission from BDU, along with a signed photographer’s agreement
- No retractable leashes permitted on the property.
- Please notify staff if your dog eliminates in the pool area or on the dock for appropriate cleaning and sanitizing.
- Please pick up after your dogs. If you don’t follow this rule you will be asked to leave and NO refunds will be given.
- Practice jumps are allowed throughout the day for all registered dogs in the 40' pool .
- IMPORTANT!!!!! Do not leave any type of dog or human treats or food items behind at the end of the day (not even in crates or containers). We are located rural and raccoons, coyotes, bear, bobcat are known to search for food.
So please!!! do not hesitate to talk to us! We want you to have the best possible dock diving experience at Brown Dog University! Have FUN with your dog!

Onsite registration slots for Distance, and Air Retrieve will be on a first come first serve basis each day until splashes are full. We do not offer a waitlist option.

- Plenty of space for crating and canopies on the property. You can kennel out of your vehicle - but no canopies, chairs or tables to he setup on the dirt road. We highly encourage all competitors to setup shade canopies, chairs, and crates, etc inside the BDU gates.
