- Online registration closes 07/08/2023 at midnight (CDT).
- Pre-registration (online) price per splash for this event is $25.00 (USD) per dog. Payment is due upon check-in.
- Splashes can be purchased on-site the day of the event for $30.00 (USD) per dog.
- Payment is required at check-in for all pre-registered splashes. Refunds will not be issued if you fail to show up for your turn.
- A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $35.00.
- Splashes include up to three minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
- The jump order is set by a posted running order. Each splash closes 30 minutes prior to start time. Failure to be present at the beginning of the splash can result if the forfeiture of jumping in that splash.
- Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of them will be your Qualifying Score.
- You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have five Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC and CKC through their recognition programs. View their applications here (AKC) and here (CKC).

- Try-its will be allowed as space permits and during Splashes if no competitors are waiting to jump. Try-its cost $10.00.

Welcome to 24k Diving Dogs Specialty event.
Saturday will run A-Z. Sunday will run Z-A.
Checking In - The Admin trailer will be open at 7am to get you checked in and pay for your splashes. In the NADD rules it states you must be checked in no later than 30 minutes prior to your first Splash time. Ex if your first splash is at 8:30am you must be checked and paid by 8am. Keep in mind if everyone doesn’t show up until 7:30am it will be impossible to get everyone checked in by 8am. You need to allow yourself time to get checked in and pay and then set up your area. We need everyone to comply with this so we can have the running order posted and start are splashes on time. We will have a meeting at 8:15 first splash will start at 8:30am. .
You may set up crates and ez ups between the pool area and the fence line.
Before Hydro Dash and Air Retrieve we will have a briefing that everyone must attend.
You will be required to sign the waivers/liability release forms. Once signed and checked in you will receive an armband. You will not be allowed on the dock without an armband this goes for holders as well as throwers ANYONE on the property must sign the waivers. Please try to keep your armband for the entire event.
ALL Parking will be in the field with the large tobacco barn. The entrance is immediately past our driveway on the left. This area will include a handicap parking section marked off closest to the entrance to our pool area. The HANDICAP parking is ONLY for those that have HANDICAP permits!!!!!!!
If you have a reactive dog and choose to participate in any Dock Diving activities here at 24k Diving Dogs you will be responsible for keeping your dog under your control at ALL times. Feel free to use a basket muzzle if you like. Keep ample space from all other dogs. IF your dog lunges or causes any reactive incident you will be invited to leave and forfeit any or all monies due to 24k Diving Dogs or NADD. We want all dogs to enjoy the sport of diving dogs however we must keep the sport safe for everyone and every dog. If you have a reactive dog take measures to keep your dog out of any incidents so that it can enjoy the sport as well.
Our weather is known to shift within minutes. Generally, events will be held during light rain. If there is lightning in the area everything will be cancelled or delayed. All measures will be made to get all the splashes in. If we have poor weather, we may switch to the Cluster format… watch for announcements on the Facebook NADD Fan Page as well as check your email for any weather change announcements.
Please pick up ALL of your dog’s accidents anywhere on our property, failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the grounds and forfeiting any monies owed 24k Diving Dogs and NADD. There will be poop buckets available for YOU to dispose of your dog’s poop.
Unless crated, dogs must be leashed at all times NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Leashes cannot exceed 6’ in length. Retractable leashes are absolutely prohibited. Prong collars are allowed but must be removed before entering the dock.
Anyone who pushes or throws their dog into the pool or in any other way abuses their dog will be excluded from further participation andwill forfeit any splash or fees!
Absolutely NO dogs are allowed in the pond at any time or inside any of our training areas (agility ring, obedience ring, barn). My neighbors have a horse arena directly across from my pasture. If someone is riding a horse in the arena and dogs start barking at the horse this could result in the horse getting spooked and throwing the rider. This is a safety issue and I truly thank you all for the understanding and help with this.
Preferred methods of payment are cash or check. We accept all major credit cards with a 3% convenience fee.
No dogs shall be allowed off-leash in any part of the competition area, except for on the dock or in the water. Dogs should be kept under close handler control. A safe distance (approx. 8 ft.) must be kept between all dogs.
No Shows – Please read the NADD rules regarding No shows!!!! You have 3 choices to avoid a NO SHOW…. Doctors Note for you from your doctor if you are ill, Vet note from your veterinarian if your dog is sick injured or in season, Or PAY for your splashes.
Pre-registion is a privilege, abuse could result in the suspension of your privileges.
This is a very abbreviated version of some of the NADD rules. Ultimately it is YOUR responsibility to read ALL the NADD rules entirely PRIOR to competing. They can be downloaded from the NADD website. If you are competing in AR or HD please read those rules as well! Please stay up to date on the rules as this as well as many other rules will be changing for the new season!!!

Places to stay – Please contact them directly for pet policies. We are pretty close to equal distances to Bainbridge GA, Tallahassee FL, and Cairo GA (we are actually 18 miles south of Cairo) So in regards to where to stay…. There is not much in Cairo, however Bainbridge has a few restaurants, Home Depot, Walmart, Tractor Supply. Tallahassee has everything!!!
