Event Notes

  • A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $35.00.
  • Splashes include up to four minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
  • The jump order is set by a posted running order. Each splash closes 30 minutes prior to start time. Failure to be present at the beginning of the splash can result if the forfeiture of jumping in that splash.
  • Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of them will be your Qualifying Score.
  • You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have five Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC and CKC through their recognition programs. View their applications here (AKC) and here (CKC).
  • Please read the official NADD Rules before you attend the Trial.

Try-its at this event

  • Try-its will be allowed as space permits and during Splashes if no competitors are waiting to jump. Try-its cost $10.00 for two Try-it tickets. These tickets may be used on any day of the competition.

Welcome to 24k Diving Dogs!!!!!


This event will be run as a normal “facility” event; your splash times will be the times that you signed up for when you registered for this event. Running order will be in alphabetical order (per dog) with exceptions being made for pre approved conflicts . All participants must check in with admin at least 30 minutes before their splash. Failure to check in at least 30 minutes prior may result in a change or forfeiture of the splash assigned. Once all participants for the splash have checked in a running order will be created. We will have a brief meeting prior to each splash and this briefing will also be posted. Missing a splash time will be a forfeiture of that splash.

We will do everything we can to stay as close to schedule as possible. You all can help us by making sure you give yourself time to get checked in NO LATER than 30 minutes before your scheduled splash time. If your splash time is 8am you must be checked in no later than 7:30am. Admin will be open at 6:45am. Also please have your dogs ready when it’s their turn to jump. If you miss your turn you will be moved to the BOTTOM of the splash. We will try to call out names of upcoming dogs but it is your responsibility to keep an eye on the running board list and have your dog in line when it’s your turn to jump.

You may set up crates and ez ups between the pool area and the fence line.

Before Hydro Dash and Air Retrieve we will have a briefing that everyone must attend log this briefing will be posted with the running order.  Remember according to NADD rules you must check in/pay with administration 30 minutes prior to your scheduled splash time.

You will be required to sign the waivers/liability release forms.  Once signed and checked in you will receive an armband.  You will not be allowed on the dock without an armband this goes for holders as well as throwers ANYONE on the property must sign the waivers.  Please try to keep your armband for the entire event.

ALL Parking will be in the field with the large tobacco barn.  The entrance is immediately past our driveway on the left. This area will include a handicap parking section marked off closest to the entrance to our pool area.  The HANDICAP parking is ONLY for those that have HANDICAP permits!!!!!!!

If you have a reactive dog and choose to participate in any Dock Diving activities here at 24k Diving Dogs you will be responsible for keeping your dog under your control at ALL times.  Feel free to use a basket muzzle if you like.  Keep ample space from all other dogs.  IF your dog lunges or causes any reactive incident you will be invited to leave and forfeit any or all monies due to 24k Diving Dogs or NADD.  We want all dogs to enjoy the sport of diving dogs however we must keep the sport safe for everyone and every dog. If you have a reactive dog take measures to keep your dog out of any incidents so that it can enjoy the sport as well.

Our weather is known to shift within minutes.  Generally, events will be held during light rain.  If there is lightning in the area everything will be cancelled or delayed.  All measures will be made to get all the splashes in. If we have poor weather, we may switch to the Cluster format… watch for announcements on the Facebook NADD Fan Page as well as check your email for any weather change announcements.

Please pick up ALL of your dog’s accidents anywhere on our property, failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the grounds and forfeiting any monies owed 24k Diving Dogs and NADD. There will be poop buckets available for YOU to dispose of your dog’s poop.

Unless crated, dogs must be leashed at all times NO EXCEPTIONS!!!  Leashes cannot exceed 6’ in length.  Retractable leashes are absolutely prohibited.  Prong collars are allowed but must be removed before entering the dock.

Anyone who pushes or throws their dog into the pool or in any other way abuses their dog will be excluded from further participation andwill forfeit any splash or fees!

Absolutely NO dogs are allowed in the pond at any time or inside any of our training areas (agility ring, obedience ring, barn).  My neighbors have a horse arena directly across from my pasture.  If someone is riding a horse in the arena and dogs start barking at the horse this could result in the horse getting spooked and throwing the rider.  This is a safety issue and I truly thank you all for the understanding and help with this. 

 Preferred methods of payment are cash or check. We accept all major credit cards with a 3% convenience fee.


No dogs shall be allowed off-leash in any part of the competition area, except for on the dock or in the water. Dogs should be kept under close handler control. A safe distance (approx. 8 ft.) must be kept between all dogs.


No Shows - I’m including this in this email because this has been an issue for all facilities so I am going to copy and paste the NADD no show rule here:

Any pre-registered dog that is not withdrawn prior to the deadline and does not show will receive a no show. EACH DOG, not withdrawn, will be counted as a no show.

As NADD does not charge at the point of pre-registration, competitors are responsible for removing their dog from events if they are unable to attend at least 7 days prior to the event. This can be done easily within the portal. After 7 days prior to the event your dog can only be removed from a splash without penalty if you submit a vet note stating the dog is in season or injured! There is no penalty until a handler earns 3 NO-SHOWS. Then at that point, they will lose the privilege of pre-registration.

For injured or in season dogs, to request a No-Show be removed, the owner must submit a Vet note to

This is a very abbreviated version of some of the NADD rules. Ultimately it is YOUR responsibility to read ALL the NADD rules entirely PRIOR to competing. They can be downloaded from the NADD website. If you are competing in AR or HD please read those rules as well!  Please stay up to date on the rules as this as well as many other rules will be changing for the new season!!!

Places to stay – Please contact them directly for pet policies.  We are pretty close to equal distances to Bainbridge GA, Tallahassee FL, and Cairo GA (we are actually 18 miles south of Cairo) So in regards to where to stay…. There is not much in Cairo, however Bainbridge has a few restaurants, Home Depot, Walmart, Tractor Supply.  Tallahassee has everything!!!

We are approx 18 miles from Bainbridge and 18-20 miles from Tallahassee.
