Event Notes
If you have already earned an invite to Nationals please wait until Friday, September 22nd to enter the LCQ. This will give folks the do not have an invite a chance to enter their dogs.
Opening date, splash times and splash limits listed are estimates. They may be adjusted before the event opens.
Top 5 dogs in each division will earn an invite to the 2023 National Championship. You MUST still have 15/5/5 splashes in the 2023 season to accept that invite but they do not have to have attended a Regionals.
If one of the five dogs already has an invite it will roll down to the next dog.
This is a special event and has separate rules that apply.
Distance -
- 3 min on the dock
- Must do 3 splashes to be part of the qualifier
- No practice jump for distance
Air Retrieve -
- No practice
- starting no less then 1 ft below your 2023 season average
Hydro Dash
- No practice
- 30 sec attempt time

National Championship Qualifier
- In order to qualify for Distance Jump, each dog must have a minimum of three splashes completed at this event. We then take the average of the top three jumps from the event for each dog. Only the top 5 dogs in each division will receive an automatic invite to the Showcase.
- Jumps in all the Splashes will count towards your NADD/AKC titles.
- The Air Retrieve and Hydro Dash qualifier will be based on the highest score achieved at the event. In both Open & Lap, the Top 5 Finishers for each division will earn invites.
