Some of you were at Regionals last year and its mostly the same with slight change to order, location and scoring.   First time at Regionals?  Perfect.  I want to cover all the information I can think of to help you feel confident in what is happening when, where and how.   The more you know the more confident you will feel and hopefully that translates into confidence on the dock.

Directions:
The East gate is the main gate and should be used if you have an RV/staying on site or can't get in the South Gate.   The South Gate should be open each day.  The pool is just south of the clock tower.

Parking:
You can park anywhere in the area except on the updog field, the road by the dock, and the road leading to the bathroom or beside the bathroom.  You can pretty much park and setup anywhere you like except blocking a road or the middle of the updog field, or in an RV spot. Check the map above for a better idea.
You can set up a tent at your vehicle (recommended as there is minimal shade)         Map Link

Weather:
We jump in the rain and only stop if lightning or severe conditions are present.   We resume as soon as those conditions no longer impact the safety of competitors.

CHECK IN

When you arrive, check in at the admin tent to sign waivers, ask questions, Then head to the board so we know you are on the grounds.  Let us know your dogs name and we will mark you as present.

It's easier just to sign the waiver at the event but if you prefer, you can use these:

Print and Sign event Waiver

RUN ORDERS
This event is going to be very full. We will be jumping all day each day pretty much.  We are running alphabetical order, A-Z each discipline.  Run orders will be posted the night before each day.   Be alert and let us know asap if you have a dog that needs to move because it's within 5 of another of your dogs.

Your Turn:

Please be ready to go 5 dogs before it is your turn, and standing near the dock where directed by the wranglers.  Check in when you are 5 dogs away and we will mark you as “ready” on the board.
Potty yourself and the dog, make sure you have all your gear, including your toy.. Take the stairs as the dog on the dock  is finishing up, open the gate as they are exiting the dock.  Handle your turn like a champ Then,  exit quickly so the next team can rock the dock.

There are bathrooms/facilities at the dock.

FOOD:

Near the dock is a food stand with typical fair fare being served.
Most good restaurants are in Warner Robbins.
Alcohol should not be visible on the property.

Jr Handlers:

Make sure when you check in at admin that the Jr Handler is added to your dog as a Jr handler in the system.  By participating in the Jr Handler event, they are automatically invited to Nationals to compete as Jr Handlers.
.

Awards:
Placements are awarded on Sunday only and you must be present to accept our ribbon or have appointed someone to grab them for you. This worked out just fine last year.  If you take a ribbon for someone, you just need to sign for it.

** Scores.  As per the rules, you should review your scores and ensure they are correct prior to completion of the event.  We will triple check and still can miss something. Please help by checking your scores.

Volunteers:

If you want to help with Setup, admin, wrangling, judging or tear down, let me know asap.  I need a line judge for HD for example.

Sponsors:

Please stop by the Antinol booth and thank them for their support and also ask them how their supplement is serving sport dogs all over the world. Bob will have goodies for you I’m sure.

Photographer:
Kim Langevin will be on site again all day each day and she will be posting her info so you can see the pictures once published.
