Meet Our Southeast Dock Operators
This February 2025 Thomas and Janet Gallup of Hernando, Florida, were named NADD’s Southeast Mobile Dock operators serving Alabama, the Carolinas, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The Gallups were happy to take on the role, loving the opportunity it brought to travel, compete with their three dogs, and meet and teach other teams about the sport they are so passionate about.
Janet was the first to start dock diving in 2019 with her two Labs, Dixie and Diesel. “There were so many nice and welcoming people that I met along the way, many who helped and mentored newcomers like me,” she said. “After a couple of years competing and volunteering, I was asked if I wanted to become a judge, and it quickly became one of my favorite things to do.”
“We love meeting new people, watching each team compete and succeed, and the overall joy this sport brings,” Janet said. “The most challenging part of the job is sometimes the physical aspect of putting up and tearing down the pool, but with hard work, we can achieve anything.”
