- Pre-registration (online) price per splash for this event is $23.00 (USD) per dog. Payment is due upon check-in.
- Splashes can be purchased on-site the day of the event for $28.00 (USD) per dog.
- Payment is required at check-in for all pre-registered splashes. Refunds will not be issued if you fail to show up for your turn.

Event Notes
- A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $35.00.
- Splashes include up to three minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
- The jump order is set by a posted running order. Each splash closes 30 minutes prior to start time. Failure to be present at the beginning of the splash can result if the forfeiture of jumping in that splash.
- Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of them will be your Qualifying Score.
- You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have five Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC and CKC through their recognition programs. View their applications here (AKC) and here (CKC).
- Please read the official NADD Rules before you attend the Trial.

THEME: "Almost Summer Luau"
This event will be run as pre-covid format, with required masking and social distancing per Washington State COVID recommendations!!!!
Only pre-registered teams may attend this event. This trial will not be open to public spectators. No Try-it’s will be offered.
COVID PLAN:
- Our usual event BBQ, food & drinks will not be available. Please bring your own food from home, and do not share with others due to current covid concerns.
- Only competitors from the same household should crate under canopies.
- Masks are required while on BDU property per current state requirement. BDU property includes the private road for parking. When you are on the dock alone with your dog, or you are away from people, you may remove your mask. Six acres is PLENTY of room to spread out!
- Hand gel is available throughout the grounds, along with an outdoor sink with running water and soap for hand washing.
- Volunteers will be wiping dock gates between each competitor.
- Ribbons can be picked up after your jumps, they will be handed to you directly or layed out for you to pickup on a table.
Our goal is to make our trial environment as safe as possible for all of our dog handlers, volunteers, and judges. - As a guest of BDU you will be courteous and respectful to staff and volunteers and conduct yourself in a sportsmen’s manner both on and off the dock while at BDU per NADD and AKC’s code of conduct.
- During all NADD AKC trials if we have a professional event photographer on staff, per NADD rules other photographers or those will professional lenses will not be authorized to photograph any other dogs but those they own without permission from BDU, along with a signed photographer’s agreement
- No retractable leashes permitted on the property.
- Please notify staff if your dog eliminates in the pool area or on the dock for appropriate cleaning and sanitizing.
- Please pick up after your dogs. If you don’t follow this rule you will be asked to leave and NO refunds will be given.
- Disposal of poop should be in compost waste containers. We provide compostable bags and/or scoops, and poop compost bins in several locations.
- Practice jumps are allowed in between Splashes as time permits, starting with dry dogs first.
- Do not leave any type of dog or human treats or food items behind at the end of the day. We are located rural and raccoons, coyotes, bear, bobcat are known to search for food.
- Please communicate all problems, all concerns, and issues you have with the staff, the facility or any of the handlers and their dogs immediately as they occur, we want to address problems in real time to solve it during the event. There is no way to correct it if you mention it to us or NADD after the event is over.
