Registration
- Online registration closes 09/15/2020 at midnight (CDT).
- Pre-registration (online) price per splash for this event is $23.00 (USD) per dog. Payment is due upon check-in.
- Splashes can be purchased on-site the day of the event for $28.00 (USD) per dog.
- Payment is required at check-in for all pre-registered splashes. Refunds will not be issued if you fail to show up for your turn.
Event Notes
- A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $35.00.
- Splashes include up to three minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
- The jump order is set by a posted running order. Each splash closes 30 minutes prior to start time. Failure to be present at the beginning of the splash can result if the forfeiture of jumping in that splash.
- Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of them will be your Qualifying Score.
- You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have five Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC and CKC through their recognition programs. View their applications here (AKC) and here (CKC).
- Please read the official NADD Rules before you attend the Trial.

Other Notes
Please come join Splash Your Pup as we host the first annual Michigan State Championship. This will be a sanctioned NADD event but in no way should it be considered as a regional, qualifying, or national event. The winners of each division will have dog and human names forever immortalized on the Michigan State Championship Trophy. Format will be a minimum of three splashes in a specific division with their best jump counting. The five teams with the highest jumps in each division will then advance to the finales. Once in the finales each team will get two jumps with the best jump counting. The team with the highest jump in each division will be crowned as the Michigan State Champion.
DDOM will be hosting an UPDog Challenge in conjunction with this event.
DDOM and Splash Your PUP Covid Plan. We will follow all the Local, State, Federal Laws to holding events at DDOM. This plan is subject to change without notice
- We are closely monitoring the CDC and following the guidelines.
- If you feel sick or have any Covid-19 symptoms DO NOT COME.
- Spectators are allowed.
- Masks are recommended and suggested at the disc and pool area.
- You must wear a mask in the barn competitor and spectator. Bring your own mask as we will not provide one.
- We have set up two porta jon’s and a hand washing and hand sanitizer station at the dock area and the barn/disc area. Please only use the one in your area (If you are doing multiple events please use your best judgment).
- Please spray the handle seat and any touch points with alcohol (alcohol will be provided).
- We have installed spring doors on the dock to limit the hand touching of the gates.
- You can put up an EzUp.
- You must practice social distancing while on Disc Dogs of Michigan LLC property, failure to practice social distancing you will be asked to leave the event and NO REFUND will be given.
- Administration tents/shelters at both the disc, barn hunt, and dock are off limits. DO NOT go into them or touch anything unless you are asked to come in.
- All our waivers will be signed electronically.
- Remember social distancing and wash you hands.
