Event Notes
- A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $35.00.
- Splashes include up to three minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
- This event is an Open Splash event. This is done at Portable Dock trials and other shows that have timing conflicts with other dog events. The time for each splash for the day will be set such as 9am for example for all the splashes. You have between the posted start time and end time (either before AR starts or the end of the last day, usually 3pm) to complete your splashes for the day. When you check in you will be handed “Splash Cards” for each splash that you pay for. When you are ready to jump during the day, hand a splash card to the wrangler to get put into the running order. It is the handler's responsibility to be sure to be present it before their turn to jump. Please be aware that at many events, the running order board fills very quickly and early in the day.
- Please Note: You must pay for all pre registered splashes at time of check-in. Any splashes not paid for will be put back into the event's on-site registration availability list and result in a no-show. If you are registering multiple dogs there will be a no-show for each dog. You are responsible for all pre-registered splashes.
- Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of them will be your Qualifying Score.
- You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have five Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC and CKC through their recognition programs. View their applications here (AKC) and here (CKC).

NADD Regionals Qualifier
- In order to qualify for Distance Jump, each dog must have a minimum of three DJ splashes completed at this event. We then take the average of the top three jumps from the event for each dog. Only the top 3 dogs in each division will receive an automatic Distance Jump invite to the Regionals.
- Jumps in all the Splashes will count towards your NADD/AKC titles.
- The Air Retrieve and Hydro Dash qualifier will be based on the highest score achieved at the event. In both Open & Lap, the Top 3 Finishers for each division will earn invites.

General Information
Welcome to Canada, NADD participants! Thank you for choosing to attend our third year with NADD and this is our National Qualifier (Regional). We hope you and your dog/dogs have a great time, but most of all, have fun. If at anytime you have a question or suggestions please do not hesitate to ask one of 'us'.
Registration Details
- Onsite, you will be required to sign a waiver for Dog Ranch Inc as well as the NADD waiver.
- Pre-registration (online) price per splash for this event is $25.00 CAD per dog. Payment is due upon check-in.
- There will not be day of entries at this event.
- Payment is required at check-in (etransfer or cash preferred). Refunds will not be issued if you fail to show up for your turn.
Stuff you need to know about Dog Ranch Inc.
- No dogs are allowed in our training buildings, inside or outside, nor are you welcome to run your dog off-leash in the front acreage.
- Unless crated, dogs must be leashed at all times except when on the dock. No off leash exercise anywhere on the property!
- Leashes cannot exceed six feet in length, a four foot leash is preferred, especially if the event is full. Retractable leashes are absolutely prohibited. Prong collars are allowed but must be removed before entering the dock.
- You must pick up after your dogs. There are various waste cans around the property, please respect and use them.
- Of note, chewing gum should not be thrown on the ground, please use the garbage cans to dispose of.
- Smoking is not prohibited, but all butts must be disposed of in a safe manner.
- Keep ample space from all other dogs. Not everyone is friendly. IF your dog lunges or causes any reactive incident you will be asked to leave.
National Qualifier Information
This is a National Qualifier event. You must jump at least 3 splashes to be eligible. You must have 15 jumps by the end of the season to be eligible to accept any earned invitation from this event.
First Place in each division will earn an invitation to the Nationals (Regionals).
Pre-entry competitors must be on site at least half hour before scheduled splash.
Please be aware of the NADD pre-entry and no show rules.
You must remove yourself at least 7 days before the event you have entered. If you do not, you WILL receive a no show for the event. The only accepted excuse for a waiver is a vet note for the entered dog or a vet note for an entered dog in season.
If you are a no show on the first day of an event you pre-entered, you will become a day of event entry for any other days of the event.
You must pay for ALL pre-entered splashes the first time you check in. We accept cash or Email money transfers.
You must check in and sign a dock release before entering the dock. You must have a wrist band to enter the dock.
