Registration
- Online registration closes 10/11/2018 at midnight (CDT).
- Pre-registration (online) price per splash for this event is $20.00 (USD) per dog. Payment is due upon check-in.
- Splashes can be purchased on-site the day of the event for $25.00 (USD) per dog.
- Payment is required at check-in for all pre-registered splashes. Refunds will not be issued if you fail to show up for your turn.

Event Notes
- A NADD Registration Number is required to enter, purchase here for $35.00.
- Splashes include up to three minutes on the dock for one optional practice jump and two judged jumps. You must inform the judge prior to your jump if you want it to be considered a "practice jump".
- The jump order is set by a posted running order. Each splash closes 30 minutes prior to start time. Failure to be present at the beginning of the splash can result if the forfeiture of jumping in that splash.
- Each distance jumping Splash allows 2 judged jumps, back to back. The longest jump of them will be your Qualifying Score.
- You can earn a Diving Dog Title at this event. You must have five Qualifying Scores within a Division. NADD titles are recognized by the AKC and CKC through their recognition programs. View their applications here (AKC) and here (CKC).
- Please read the official NADD Rules before you attend the Trial.
NADD Regionals Qualifier
- In order to qualify for Distance Jump, each dog must have a minimum of three DJ splashes completed at this event. We then take the average of the top three jumps from the event for each dog. Only the top 3 dogs in each division will receive an automatic Distance Jump invite to the Regionals.
- Jumps in all the Splashes will count towards your NADD/AKC titles.
- The Air Retrieve and Hydro Dash qualifier will be based on the highest score achieved at the event. In both Open & Lap, the Top 3 Finishers for each division will earn invites.
Try-its at this event
- Try-its will be allowed as space permits and during Splashes if no competitors are waiting to jump. Try-its cost $10.00.

Other Notes
As the Texas cooler weather begins, Autumn is around us, and the 2018 NADD season comes to an end, please join Brian and I (Elsa) at our Oktoberfest SPLASH! We welcome the camaraderie of fellow SPLASHers, and look back to an awesome first season as a sanctioned NADD/AKC facility!
THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST QUALIFIER!!!
As this event is a QUALIFIER for the 2018 NADD/AKC Eukanuba National Championships, and Air Retrieval (AR) is already full (as of 6/21/2018), I will be expanding the amount of AR SPLASHES for each day for this event - to 20 AR SPLASHES. If you are interested in reserving a spot on the AR list for your dog, text, PM, or email me. Provide me the date(s) you would like to reserve, your name, your dog(s) name, and if they are in Open or Lap. If you provide me your information prior to 8/25/2018, the cost per AR SPLASH will be at the pre-registration cost of $20. Any requests made after 8/25/2018 midnight, will be at the on-site cost of $25.
We will have a Halloween Costume Contest for the DOGS on Sunday the 14th! Dress your pup in his/her costume for a chance to win a prize basket!!! All in attendance will have a chance to vote, and three prize baskets will be given away!
Our facility is located on A-1 Hill Road, in Aransas Pass; .8 miles from the intersection of FM 1069 and Texas 188; and 4.1 miles north of the Walmart (FM 1069 & Texas 188) in Aransas Pass. There is plenty of space available for your pop-up tents and chairs; ice cold beverages will be provided.

LaQuinta - 201 Buddy Ganem Drive in Portland (361) 777-2777; approximately 15-20 minutes away, not bad on traffic. There is currently a block of rooms for this event; if you make your reservation by October 5th, the nightly cost will be $99 per night.
BEST WESTERN - 2025 State Hwy 361 in Ingleside (361) 776-2767; approximately 10-15 minutes away; not much traffic. $119 per night; $15 per dog fee.

Registration and open dock from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. each day. First SPLASH begins at 8 a.m. This event is open to all breeds - all dogs must be on leash at all times except when on the dock; leashes must not exceed 6' in length, nor be retractable.
Cash and checks are accepted for payment; there will be a $35 return check fee for any returned checks.
